Are you a Telegram power user? Are you tired of switching between the same few accounts over and over again? Luckily, Telegram Desktop lets you add multiple identities with ease.
Open the settings
Here’s how to get started:
-Open your Telegram app(Telegram中文app).
-Go to Settings > Manage identities. Click on Add identity.
You’ll then be asked to enter the username of your new identity and a profile picture. You can use any image as your profile photo, but it should be square-shaped and at least 100×100 pixels in size.
Click on “Manage identities”
It’s easy! Click on the three dots in the top right corner of your Telegram app, then click “Manage identities”. You’ll see a list of all your current Telegram accounts. Click on “Add new identity” and you’ll be able to create an unlimited amount of them!

Click on “Add new identity”
Click on the plus button to add a new identity. From there, select the account you want to add and click on the “add” button.
Once you’ve added an identity, you can manage it from the account settings page. There are a few important things to note about managing identities:
-You can only manage identities that are linked to the account you’re currently signed into. -You can only manage your own identities. If you’re an admin on a team, you won’t be able to add or remove anyone else’s identity from their account.
Log in with the second account
Step 1: Log in with the second account. The first step is to log in with the second account you’d like to use on your desktop app. You’ll need to use the same email address and password as your first account, so make sure you’ve logged out of that one before moving on.
For example, if my main Telegram account is at [email protected] and my second one is at telegram2@example2com, I would type this into my browser’s address bausername=telegram&password=myPassword&retype=myPassword&provider=web-API
Now click “sign in.” You should see a page similar to this one:
Repeat step 3 for every other account you need
Repeat step 3 for every other account you need. Click on “Save” to save the changes. You can now switch between accounts with ease.
Step 4: Click on “Switch Account” from the top-right corner. Select your account and click on “Sign In” to proceed. You can now manage your accounts easily.
That’s it!
That’s it! You can now use multiple accounts on Telegram Desktop. To switch between them, click on the avatar in the bottom right of your window. You can also change accounts by clicking on the word “Telegram” at the top left of your window.
If you’re using a laptop or desktop computer, click on the username at the top left of your window. This will bring up your list of Telegram accounts.
