Tools you need to elevate your business in 2022

It’s time to take your business to the next level. Marketing is a key part of any business – whether you want to grow your customer base or improve your brand identity. You need to invest time, money, and resources into your marketing department to get the best results. You could transform your company in no time at all with a smart marketing strategy.

Here are a few tools to help you elevate your business.

Utilise Google more

You don’t need to invest thousands of pounds in the latest marketing software. There are plenty of free resources online to help you improve your content strategy. Google has a plethora of tools available – from analytics to reviews. You can use Google Trends to track insights into different topics online and how people are searching for them. These online trends can feed into your digital marketing strategy and help your business gain more traction.

You should also focus on your Google My Business ranking, especially if you’re a small business owner. People can leave reviews online and rate your service out of five stars. Potential customers will read these reviews to understand your business better and whether they want to be a part of it. Use Google Alerts to stay up to date on industry news and any mentions of your brand name.

Graphics

Your digital identity needs to flow seamlessly across all platforms. You need a logo, brand name, voice, colour palette and much more. Customers can spot your brand colours and recognise your business in no time at all. Canva is a fantastic app that can create infographics, Instagram posts, posters, business cards and much more. You can use the free version or upgrade for a small fee every month. There’s no need to hire a graphic designer when you can do it yourself. Although, it might be worth asking another employee to help you if you’re struggling with the software. Not everyone has a creative streak!

An effective loyalty program

An effective loyalty programme can help you to retain a customer base and acquire new ones. Many businesses use membership programmes to encourage customers to buy their products again. You could offer exclusive discounts, competitions and much more to your customers.

There are many different types of loyalty programmes – you just need to find what works for you. You could use email marketing to target existing customers or social media competitions to attract new eyes. Get creative and explore new ideas for loyalty schemes with your marketing team.

You can grow your business with a smart and creative plan. Look at the data and monitor consumer behaviour to see where you can improve. Once you have a plan, make sure to follow through with it.
