Why OPPO Reno7 is better than OPPO Reno6

OPPO Reno series is one of the best smartphone series in the market. It is taking photography and mobile entertainment to new heights. The Reno Series‘ innovative design encourages unrivaled expressions of creativity. We will be comparing Reno6 and Reno7 from the series and explaining why Reno7 is better than Reno6.

Design:

The design of Reno6 and Reno7 is premium but specifically, Reno7 brings out the best smartphone design. Reno6 has an ultra slim and sleek design. Reno7, like Reno6, has an ultra slim retro design but it comes in two colours. You can choose between the cosmic blue and sunset orange. Both look stunning. The Oppo Reno6 is also a very manageable smartphone in one hand, measuring 6.5 inches and weighing approximately 182g. The same goes for the Reno7 which measures 6.3 inches and weighs around 175g. Reno7 weighs lighter than Reno7.

Display:

The Oppo Reno6 and OPPO Reno7 feature a 20:9 AMOLED+FHD display with a resolution of 1,080 x 2,400. They offer a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, and a refresh rate of 90Hz. The deep colours and sharp contrast levels of an AMOLED panel are inherent properties. These properties make multimedia consumption a joy. The scrolling and viewing experience are smooth and satisfying. Then there is FHD and eye care display, which is easier on the eyes. So, overall Reno6 and Reno7 not only offer the best viewing experience but also good eye care.

Camera:

The Oppo Reno6 has three rear cameras: a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide snapper, and a 2MP macro unit. A 32MP camera on the front is used for selfies and video calls. The Oppo Reno7’s camera module is led by a 64-megapixel main camera, which is accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor and a 2 MP micro lens capable of 15x and 30x magnification. Magnification helps with creativity and quality of the pictures. Micro lens gives an obvious advantage over macro unit of the Reno6.

Meanwhile, the 32 MP Sony IMX709 sensor with RGBW pixel arrangement is on the front. When shooting in broad daylight, images are colour accurate with good dynamic range and an acceptable amount of detail. The camera results of Oppo Reno7 are a lot better than that of OPPO Reno6. There is a lot of colour saturation in the shots taken by Oppo Reno6. The sensor tries to sway colour accuracy, especially with greens, blues, and reds, to make them more appealing through the added vibrancy.

Performance:

Oppo Reno 6 has a MediaTek Dimensity 900, and Reno 7 has Snapdragon 680. The performance of Snapdragon 680 is a lot better than that of MediaTek Dimensity 900. Devices powered by the Snapdragon 680 recharge faster and last longer. These along with the AI technologies enable enhanced entertainment in photography, audio, gaming, and streaming. Oppo Reno 6 and Oppo Reno7 have a memory of 8GB+128GB. 8GB RAM ensures smooth performance and there are less lags. Although the storage is less, given that we store a lot of photos, videos, and documents in our all smartphones. The good part is that the memory is expandable for Reno7. Insert an SSD (Solid State Drive) card and you are good to go. However, this option is not available for OPPO Reno6. So, Reno7 has the upper hand over Reno6 in terms of memory.

Battery:

Oppo Reno7 has more battery capacity. The battery capacity of the Oppo Reno7 is 4500mAh and that of the Reno 6 is 4300mAh. Battery capacity vise, there is not a significant difference between the Reno7 and Reno6. Whether it is 4300mAh or 4500mAh, the good news is that battery is going to last more than a day.
