If you’re 18 years or older and fail the first driving test in Ohio, the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) requires you to complete an Abbreviated Adult Driver Training Course before you can retake a driving test.

What Is the Ohio Abbreviated Adult Driver Training Course?

According to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV):

“Any adult driver applicant, age 18 or older, who fails the road portion of the driving test is required to complete an abbreviated adult driver training course before re-testing.”
