The Function of Text in Video

Videos with text are popular on many social media platforms. You may wonder why text has become extremely important in videos.

Firstly, the text usually appearing as a caption is an extra cue to help viewers understand the information in the video much better. Next, every video always involves key sections that are important for viewers to notice. Text can make a mark in a video to highlight the key sections. Furthermore, it’s convenient for viewers who open the mute mode in public when watching videos.

The title appears at the beginning of a video. If you have an attractive title, it will draw the attention of the audience and your video will get more views. The credits can make viewers know who they are in the video and who other workers are behind the scenes.
