Step 4: Place a new battery

Replace the new battery at the same location that the old battery was. Install the hard drive cable and attach the battery to the laptop using a screw.

Step 5: Charge the new battery

Take 2 hours to charge the battery and turn on the laptop. Once the laptop has been turned on, ensure that all the tasks have been completed.
