To use our online screen recorder with sound, log in or register for iTop screen recorder and editing software for free.
Click the Save & Create tab on the left sidebar in a new or existing video. Click on the Screen recording feature.
The recording button will show on the screen. Check your mic settings here to make sure your sound is working properly. The screen recorder uses your computer’s built-in microphone.
To start recording your screen, click the big red button.
You can record your entire screen, window or Chrome tab.
We have chosen to record the screen of a Chrome tab for this tutorial.
Click on the tab of your choice, then on Share. This takes you to the Chrome tab you selected for screen recording. Your screen is now being recorded. Your sound recording starts automatically when you click Share. Your built-in microphone will pick up your voice, clicks from your computer or mouse, and noises around you. To end recording your screen, click Stop Sharing.
Once you click Stop Sharing, you’ll be back in the editing tool. If you’re not satisfied with it, click Make a new take. If you want to use your video, click Save & Edit.
Your video will automatically download to your computer. Click the Your Files tab to find your screen recording files. The Audio will be attached to the media file. Your video will automatically be added to your timeline.
You can mute your screen recording by clicking the microphone icon on the timeline.
To change the sound, click the Audio tab above the video preview. Drag the volume slider left and right to change the sound volume. You can also click the Separate Audio Track button to separate the Audio from the screen recording on the timeline. The Audio will appear below the video clip in your timeline and automatically download the Audio file to your computer.
