A blog can help you build trust and ‘know’ as a small business owner. Blogs can help you show off your business and build relationships with potential customers.
These are some things to keep in mind when writing content for your blog.Is your content helping to show that you are the “go-to” person for your business type in your local area? While it may be funny and entertaining, is your content also showing that you can solve the problem of potential customers?
Are your blog encouraging people to build connections and establish relationships with you? Do you have a place where your audience can give their email address and name so that you can begin the communication process? Is it asking for feedback? Ask people to comment on what they’re reading and to respond. Do not assume that they will know the right thing to do.

Is your content able to build trust in you? Do you have permission from your customer to share a testimonial or story? Is your writing clear and understandable? To demonstrate your knowledge, avoid technical terms. A middle school student might be interested in reading your articles. Your audience will understand what you say if they understand it.
Does it make sense how someone could hire you? It is often surprising to me how many blogs I read, and that there is no way for me contact the blogger. Multiple ways of communication are necessary. You should provide a RSS feed so they can subscribe to your blog, as well as a local number and email address. You should also include a link to your LinkedIn profile or Facebook Business Page if you are active on social media.
What are some of the areas that you could address in your blog’s content?
Remember that your goal should be to educate your audience. Give your audience useful tips to use when they use your product or service. Provide helpful tips to your customers if you are a seasonal business like lawn care.
Use humor and stories to make your blog interesting. Your blog should read as if it were written by someone sitting at the same table as you, and they were enjoying a cup of coffee. To be funny, you don’t have to be vulgar. To appeal to as many people as possible, you should avoid sexist, age- or race-related topics. Stories about you are important. People connect to people so share about yourself and your motivations for being in this industry. Multimedia communication is key to entertaining. You don’t have to be afraid to include video and photos to your blog.
Your audience’s interests are important. Tell the story behind your product. Our lawn service company could share the history and importance of the azalea, which is a popular plant in our region. Their article would appear in the search results for potential customers looking for information about azaleas.

Why should you listen to me and not read this?
Before I go into the tips, I want to mention that I have two blogs. One has been ranked high in search engines and received over 3000 comments. The other one saw a 300% increase in traffic. This is because many people think, “Why should I listen?” What are you proud of? As you can see, my blogs have been a huge success. I’ll now share my tips for business blogging to help you.
Tips for blogging in business
I researched the market to find keywords that could be used in my content. Keyword research is essential when blogging. It is these keywords that will make the difference between getting ranked on page one and not. I still use a powerful keyword tool that allows me to do my research and spy on the competition. This allows me stay ahead of my competitors and gets me all the traffic and rankings I want!
Keyword density is another aspect of my business blogging tips. Keyword density is key to high search engine rankings, high traffic and high search engine rankings. This is important, so you should include your keyword in your title and throughout the article. Your keyword density should not exceed 2%. If it is higher, Google will consider your blog spam and will drop you from the top rankings. A tool I use automatically checks my keyword density. This means that my blog will not exceed the 2% mark, and I have the possibility of getting higher rankings and more visitors.
3) I also make sure that my blogs are regularly updated with new content. This is crucial because it lets search engines know your blog is real. They will also notice that you have updated the blog frequently. This will allow them to leave their webs and crawl the entire blog.
4) Business blogging tips include sharing your blog and generating viral traffic. You can see the link at the bottom of the article. This link is to my blog, which is another great way to get high search engine rankings as well as more traffic. Google will rank your article or blog in the top position due to the amount of link juice your article or blog link has.
These are only a few of the business blogging tips I’ve used to generate over 300%+ traffic to my blog and more than 3000 comments. These tips can be used to your advantage and you will see the same or better results if you act. Learn how to make your blog a success by clicking the link below.
