But dazzled youth athletes on the field are the result of countless hours of preparation and planning, and a lot of that has to do with making sure they have the gear they need to play. Instead, use those early-bird registration deposits to make wholesale orders during the off-season (late fall, winter). Build a Kit-Based Distribution System
The chaos is real when gear is given out piece by piece. A kid arrives without a bag, a coach issues jerseys but overlooks socks, a single order of bibs isn’t with the rest of the gear shipment. Small missteps like this can cost leagues hours and hours in volunteer time.
None of this happens with a kit-based system. Before registration day, pre-stuff each duffle with the full set of gear for each player: jersey, reversible, bib, training socks, and everything else the league issues.
